We are out of network for all insurance. Our fee schedule is the same regardless of insurance status.

Medical Visits can currently be scheduled for residents of Texas, Iowa, Kentucky, Georgia or Michigan. While an initial in-person visit is best, we can also see patients virtually.

If you live out of state, we also offer direct to physician or collaborative consultations if you have a local physician who is interested in working directly with Dr Gibbs. We also offer health coaching options

Dr Gibbs is currently expanding her licensing and collaborating physician network, so don't hesitate to inquire.

Payment for services is expected in advance of appointments, at the time of scheduling. We require a credit card on file to schedule appointments, order labs or other incidental expenses. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Health Savings Plan cards.  We reserve the right to raise prices at any time.

We have an arrangement for cash-pay labs with Labcorp. It is frequently the case that I can get the recommended labs done for you on a cash price basis at a substantial discount even over your insurance copay, if arranged in advance at the time the order is submitted.

Introductory Coaching consultation

This is a single 30 minute Coaching session with Dr Gibbs.

Primarily designed for interested clients outside our licensed service areas, this session gives strategy on what to ask for, and how to find a compatible healthcare provider in your region. We also provide tips and education on the benefits of our method of lab analysis.

ACTIVATE - COMPREHENSIVE NEW PATIENT EVALUATION: 

$1200.00  Includes 2 visits: 

1. Comprehensive New Patient evaluation, goals assessment, comprehensive history, physical assessment, prior medical treatment review including previous labs, Supplements and Medications review and recommendations, Lab test ordering.

2. Comprehensive follow up visit including plan development, risks and benefits discussion and initial prescribing, as well as follow up planning.

Our per visit NEW PATIENT charges provided outside a membership are based on the anticipated TIME and COMPLEXITY. We will make every effort to be transparent about these costs. Schedule an introductory call for more details. Follow up after initial consultation is recommended at between 4 and 8 weeks.

FOLLOW UP PACKAGES: are available for 6 months at a time. 

ACCELERATE - INITIAL SUPPORT PACKAGE:    $2300.00 

For patients with unstable or complex problems. Includes unlimited one on one access to the physician during business hours via private SMS line or portal, all necessary visits for the first 6 months of complete care, access to all Dr Gibbs' paid educational products after the Activate stage is complete.

The ACCELERATE package also includes step by step stacked plan implementation, medication and supplement adjustments, refinements and additions, as many visits as necessary to meet the program goals. 

Additional follow up appointments involve symptom and goals update, review of ordered tests, interval history, treatment recommendations, informed consent and follow up plan with Q&A. 

Access to steeply discounted cash price labs is available at Labcorp through the physician's GPO.

Access to the physicians' Fullscripts account for discounts on high quality recommended supplements plus seamless ordering.

Access to the Master Your Metabolism online education program for using a Continuous Glucose Monitor (check the Courses tab for more details) and other currently running bonus programs such as using labs to optimize hormone levels, choosing supplements, fitness plans, elimination diets, managing blood sugar.

Review and optimize recommended supplements and preferred manufacturers.

MAINTAIN - FOLLOW UP Renewable SEMI-ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE: $750.00 for 6 months or $139/month

Includes ongoing care after the first 6 months: questionnaire review, lab ordering, review, as needed follow-up visits, ongoing physician access though private SMS and portal, phone calls, medication adjustments and plan management.

This is recommended for at least the  first year until all treatment goals have been achieved or if 2 or more visits are anticipated per 6 month time period.

We welcome patients regardless of insurance status. However, CIM Medical does not participate in any insurance plans.

We are happy to provide medical records and itemized invoices that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out of network reimbursement. Many patients also use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Health Share plans to cover services.

Dr. Gibbs has intentionally chosen a non-insurance model in order to provide the level of expertise, time, and individualized attention required for complex thyroid and hormone care. Practicing within the constraints of insurance based medicine makes it impossible to deliver the depth of evaluation and follow up that these patients deserve.

When you are seen at CIM Medical:

- You work directly with Dr. Gibbs, not a mid level provider

This model has also become necessary due to the increasing frequency of insurance payment denials after services have already been provided, as well as steadily declining reimbursement for independent physicians. Insurance companies consistently undervalue the type of personalized, time intensive care offered outside hospital systems, even as operating costs for staffing, technology, supplies, insurance, and rent continue to rise.

Our goal is to provide thoughtful, thorough care without compromise, rather than limiting medical decision making to what an insurance plan will approve.
